how would the tune up kit on the 3rd link be different from the other ones?

RE: what's the difference in these ignition kits? im lost..

first link is a grounding system for the car, it replaces the ground wires for, battery to chassis, battery to transmission, battery to engine and the addition of battery to alternator this only is helpful if your using an old car that is on the original ground wires becuase the copper degrades after time in an open air open to the elements.

the second link is various ignition control systems it controls how the spark is done and how ignition timing is done and the model decides the options, it also has the revlimiter in some models, basically it has a stronger control over your iginition system over stock

the third is a replacement for the cap, rotor, and stock ignition coil not really an upgrade just a replacement for old parts

unless you plan on SERIOUSLY modifying your car, you really do not need to waste your cash on those items. Honda does thier homework when designing engines.....

*nods* the only way you might want to consider a new ignition system is if you had a civic that reved up to 10k

i was considering it because i want more horsepower on my car, and also cause i read from one of the links, which said...
* Improves throttle response
* Provides easier engine starts
* Promotes smoother low & mid range torque
* See increased headlamps brightness
* Reduces electronic noise
* Provides better combustion efficiency
that really got me, lol

if you were to do is properly you would want the ignition control + an external coil over 360 dollars, increased headlamp brightness...... ummmm no, reduces electronic noise, kinda, but not in the end, provides better conbustion efficiency (are you running more then the stock fuel amount?), improves throttle response (do you have more then ihe? only a little, but that has to do with how it burns at the low end)

in the end its not a mod that will give you 10 hp, you would have to have more mods and different fuel maps

how many miles are on your car? and what year is your car? because all you really need to do is goto majestic honda, get the distributor cap, rotor, spark plug wires, and if need be the ignition coil

no reason to replace something unless its been that long

or if youve had problems relating to those specific items
