**Which Coolant hose is this? **
 

1997 accord special edition. Attached is a photo of a leaking coolant hose (in middle spraying coolant) that finally made itself known today after months of random on and off major leaks. i just cant be sure of which line it is and my hand is too fat to follow it to the ends to figure out. Anyone have any idea? thanks

to the left is the intake manifold and to the right is the brake reservoir

Ahh....I'll guess this is a 5th gen accord (94-97)?

Yes sorry about that i completely forgot to add that tid bit of crucial information.

Is that picture in between the intake manifold and the brake cylinder?

Looks to me like one of the two lines that go from the back of the block to the heater core on the firewall.

according to the cooling system diagram there is a metal tube that goes accross the back of the engine supplying coolant to nipples which rubber lines attach to and in this area there is the heater hose and an intake and return for the idle air control.it appears to be going straight accross so its more than likely the heater hose. but i cant get a good enough of a look to see if it curves up to the idle air.

Hey my guess at the gen was correct :)

As stated there are two hoses coming off that pipe...my bad eye sight says that is by pass going back to the intake.....smaller that the one that would go to the heater core.

The lines in the pic were for someone else.
