01 accord v6 Check engine/tcs

Noticed quite a few people with the same/similar problem but yet no real solution. I own an 01 honda accord v6 150k miles running beautifully since the day i got (5 years ago). Check engine light came on almost a year ago. Got it checked and came up as egr. I replaced it along with the tube. About 3 days later both lights came on again as i was getting off the highway. Had it checked again and was the egr again. Mechanic cleaned the line out and reset the lights. Next day coming home from work, same deal. I noticed the tcs light only comes on when getting off the highway when im around 60 mph every time. Engine light is always on now and tcs comes and goes. Any advice?

Usually I like to work off of the actual code(s) and not someones description of the issue. Stop by a parts store that will scan for codes for free and get the actual code(s) from them, again not their description but the code(s)....like P0420.

Then please check that battery cables. The pos at the battery, the gound at the battery...where it connects to the body and also where it connects to the trans/engine......and be sure all points of contact are clean and tight.

At any point does the ABS light come on or is it just the CEL and TCS? Also please let us know if both the TCS and CEL come on at the same time or do they come independently of each other.
