02 sensor
 

Can i cut & splice extra length to my new 02 sensor?.....Just replaced the Cat and could not get the old 02 out...It's like it's welded in the old cat from heat....If my new 02 is too short can i add extra or will it ruin the new 02?

I'm not sure what you're asking; is it relative to the wiring or the length of the probe?

Wiring....so i can plug it in.

Yes. We did that on my son's Civic after he put a 4-2-1 header on it, and needed to relocate the O2 sensor. Works just fine.

Actually, we cut the wires to the plug and extended them. That way he could use an "off the shelf" O2 sensor (plug and play).
