03 accord door Panel separation

okay its not the door panel but the handle where the door lock and window controls on the driver side has sepparrted from the handle leaving like a 5mm gap all the way down any idea how to fix? Ive tried popping the panel off and tightening the handle screws but no luck. might have to post a pis for you to see exactly what Im talking about

This picture makes it look like the entire door panel is one piece??

This probably won't result in a long detailed write-up, so I'll move it to General Tech.

peice number 9 is sepperating from the door panel near bolt numbered 16. leaves a gap and there doesnt seem to be anything I can do short of buying a new panel. Maybe a heat gun to push the handle back into place?

It may be that you have to remove the whole panel (#7/10) then figure out how the arm-rest part is fastened to the rest of the panel. Is that what's going on?

All this drawing shows, is that the arm-rest isn't available as a separate part you can buy.

The arm rest is fastened by a screw #16 and another where the arm rest makes the pull handle behind. Already tried to replace the screw behind the panel but it didn't fix the problem. Youre right too about not beig able to buy that piece seperatly. you have to buy the whole panel. Im thinking about using a heat gun and then compressing it with a cold rag to reshape it so the #9 wndow control/lock panel will fit in without sepperating.

I have a similar issue on my 05 Accord. Did you ever figure out a resolution?
