Accord 2017 floor lock

Does anyone know the purpose of the key lock on the fuel/trunk release is for? Could not find it in the manual.

The key lock is so you can lock the trunk with your regular key when valet parking. The valet key does not work on that key cylinder.

Also, it does NOT lock the fuel door.
