03 accord ex cruise control button question
 

my 03 ex cruise control button will not stay "engaged" if you hold the cruise button in and then hit set the cruise will work, but will stop when you let off the cruise button. my question is this button like a toggle switch or is it electronic and how difficult to change the button. I'm concerned working that close to the airbag. thanks for any help.

The problem usually is in the 'reel' contacts and not the button on the steering wheel.
The service manual gives a pin by pin test for the cruise control unit.
