When pricing components for the t-belt also price the t-belt tensioner. It is a little hydraulic unit and the newer engines seem to have problems with them leaking oil past the plunger. I have only done 1 v6 tbelt on the '03 group accords and it was a hybrid which is different enough that I can't really give any pointers.

Thanks a lot, everyone. This is all good information for me to consider. I really appreciate your willingness to share.

Avoid the hassles and the headaches, especially if you are not equipped with the proper tools, etc. Get it done professionally and get a warranty on the job.

I use a repair shop that will give me 3/36 warranty on ANY repair. Hard to beat that. The hassles and headaches of DIY are not worth the $$ saved...IMHO.
