03 V6 power steering high pressure feed hose/pipe
My power steering feed hose seems to have a small leak. I've heard there is a TSB on it, but haven't found it yet. Anybody change one of these, and have any tips? It looks like a real pain feeding it through the rear engine mount bracket.

Didn't you post this....
hondaaccordforum.com/forum/general-tech-help-7/power-steering-38013/ Anyway the TSB was for the o-ring, don't know of one for a leak in the hose. If you are going to change it, sounds like time for a quick "how to". |
looks like I'm on my own on this one. From what I've learned so far threading the flare nut, and feeding the line through the mount, are the tough parts.

I got a tip, that I will have to raise the rear engine mount bracket to get the power steering line out from under it. I'm also going to buy a flare nut wrench for the rack end flare nut fitting. From looking at the parts diagram, I will need these parts (hose, switch oring, and pump end oring), and two bottles of fluid. I'm still looking for any tips I can get. You can never have too much information. Anyone replace this hose before? #4, 22, and 23 in the parts diagram link.
