04 accord with 155k?

Hey guys so I'm considering buying this 2004 2.4l accord, the car is immaculate inside and out it was owned by an older women who has every service record which she did all the scheduled maintenance on time and got an oil change every 3k. The reason she has so many miles is going to south carolina every month and she has a far commute. Everything works and runs like a top, the only thing I'm worried about is the automatic transmission do they last in these cars? Is it a smart choice to buy it? And I forgot toetion she only wants 4500

As far as I have read the 04's do not have the tranny issues the 98-02 did. If the PO has had the services (trans fluid changes manily here) done at the scheduled times/milage you should be good.

155K on one of these is nothing IMO. Especially is all of the service has need done.

If you are planning on driving it lightly then I think you should be fine.
These drivelines are good to around 285k miles or so.
So how many years will that be for you, that is how I would figure out if it would be a good deal or not.

Check the service records, then compare that to the maint schedule-should be in the owners manual. If the car didn't come with one, you can register it with Honda and download one.
