'04 Accord Coupe #ElectricalProblems

I have a few questions. I have driven older cars until now. I mean, a 2004 Accord is still kind of older but you get what I mean. So I'm not used to the newer technology in these vehicles. Plus, my new ride didn't come with a manual of any kind. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

1) The 6-Disc CD changer refuses to eject CDs. At first, I assumed that it was i the trunk, but that was the Satellite Navigation CD? Which is also strange to me. Anyway, I read that I can disconnect the battery for a minute to reset it but then I need some sort of anti theft code, which I don't have. Help?

2) When I try to input my home address into the nav. system, it asks for a user pin. Obviously, as the third owner, I don't know this pin. Is there any way I can change it without having to track down the original owner?

3) there is some sort of card missing from that system... PC card? What is that for?

4) When I first brought the car home, XM radio was working. THen the next day it was gone and I could only access the entertainment channel, which seems like some sort of preview deal... Any idea why that might be?

1) If you disconnect the battery you need a security code for the stereo.
Go to www dot ahm-ownerlink dot com
Register with the car's VIN
Somewhere in that site you can get the radio security code.
You can also read an on-line version of the owner's manual there too.

2) I never had a nav system, so I can only guess that you can get that from Honda Ownerlink too.

3) I don't know

4) XM is a paid subscription, it must have expired. The previous owner isn't gonna pay for it for you. If YOU signed up & paid, then call XM to straighten it out.

2) Yes the nav system has a code just like the radio.....I think it is a four digit number where the radio is a five digit number.

Also when you go to "ahm-ownerlink" I'm pretty sure you can download a pdf version of the owners manual.
