07 accord 2.4 code 1157

Default 07 accord 2.4 code 1157

After the car warms up the check engine came on p1157 I replaced the 02 sensor light came back on just like before nothing changed but the old 02 sensor tip was white and chalky like it was leaned out i pulled the spark plugs same thing with them.so i replaced them and coil packs and the fuel injectors where do i go from here. Thanks

Was it a denso sensor or another brand. If not then buy a denso and check the plug/cable while you're at it.

Isn't a code 1157 something to do with the EVAP system? Or am I thinking about a different model/code?

No it's a sensor 1 code. Usually a new sensor fixes it but there is a possibility of the harness being open/shorted.

He should of had to replace the sensor that is connected on the right rear of the engine. It's mounted just behind the oil pan on the pipe.

yes it was a denso the harness and wirning look good all the way to the firewall

Unplug your battery and touch the 2 cables together for 5 mins to force a reset. Then try again.

You may need to return the sensor due to it being faulty. Make sure you have the right one installed. Denso 2349040

I done the reset it didnt do anything.ill check the 02 sensor part number in the morning.thsnks for the replys.could the ecu be sending a faulty signal.and if i get a used one one could it be programmed to my car

Did you replace the sensor that bolts into the catalytic converter, or the sensor that is upstream of the converter?

Do you have any testing tools like a scanner or volt meter, etc.?
