07 cruise control

ok i searched this forum for anything related to cruise control.

my problem with my cruise control is at first it wouldnt hold the speed when you set it. the green light on the dash letting you know the cruise control is on was illuminated.

now the dash light doesnt even come on.

since i know honda went to the drive by wire system, i am new to this technology.

that being said since my car has the DBW system how do i go about fixing my cruise control problem?

ive gone looking for a fuse but nothing is labeled cruise control, i did however check all the fuses with none blown.

any ideas?

Even before DBW, the cruise control diagnostics were extensive. You need a shop manual to guide you on this issue. I bought mine from www.helminc.com. I have found some lower cost e-manuals on ebay, but sometimes they can be difficult to use (no menu, just loose files).

I have an 07 Accord also, but haven't had any cruise control problems so I can't comment. The biggest fault seems to be the steering wheel switches and cable reel that connects to car system. I wouldn't think these are DBW.

good luck
