1989 accord low beam problem

its an 89 accord 2 door, high beams work but not low beams anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem? the main fuse box under the hood has been checked and all were fine.

There should be two fuses, one for each of the low beams. Those fuses are probably in the fuse box under the driver's side of the dash. Check those first to see if they aren't both blown.

If not, then see if you have 12V on the wire at the low beam bulb plug (it should be the non-black wire) when you have the low beams turned on. This will determine if the problem is with the power side of the circuit or the ground side. Just grab a volt meter, and touch the red probe to the non-black pin, and the black probe to a bolt on the valve cover.

Don't forget to check for burned-out bulbs.
