Hey All New Here and contemplating joining the Honda Family,
Im looking at a 2004 Accord Ex-L V6 6 Speed Coupe, Its a 1 owner with 98k Miles looks to be in excellent condition clean interior 1 owner with clean carfax report, Does anyone have any advice issues or concerns about this car that I should consider before purchasing it would be greatly appreciated thanks

 

I would ask to see the maintenance record. Was the oil changed at least every 5k miles, and the transmission fluid changed every 3 years? Also, there are a few things that you will have to take care of around the 100k mile mark. The main one being timing belt replacement, which could cost you $1k at the shop, so I'd keep that in mind.

 

To add on to the previous post, I would suggest getting a buyers inspection done by an independent shop. They may be able to point out potential problems that you could overlook.
