1996 Accord O2 sensor - where is it?
 

Hello All - I'm trying to help a friend of mine replace the oxygen (O2) sensor in his 1996 Honda Accord, but I don't know where it's located.

Can anyone out there point me in the right direction?

I'm not a Honda person, but I assume it must be somewhere near the ex manifold.

Any help would be appreciated!

It should be on the exhaust manifold or the downpipe that connects to the manifold. I believe on a 96 there are two of them, arent there? I thought all OBDII cars had two o2 sensors, the other one being near the cat.

The O2 sensor (primary) is either on the exhaust manifold or on the pipe right before the catalytic converter.
