1998 accord LX key remote
 

my key remote stopped working and I change the battery, still didn't work so I tried to relink the remote to the car using the turn key switch on, press lock on remote and turn key switch off method and that don't work. so I ordered new remote and still don't work. Does the remote communicate to the multiplex unit. anybody have any ideas. Thanks in advance
