Maybe adjust the cable that goes from the throttle body to the transmission?

Try to shake the engine to see if one of the other motor mounts is loose?

I did check the trans mount and driver side (engine mount) mount. All the bolts are tight and mount is good. I will look into the adjust the cable that foes from the throttle body to the transmission. I will let you know tomorrow.

Thanks,
Henry

I would have the codes scanned at a parts store to see if a sensor is messed up.

HI PAHonda,
What kind of sensor do you things is messed up? I still had old transmission that I replace still has sensors there. Thanks Henry

The point is that I do not know what is wrong, so I am trying to help you diagnose a problem. If you found an error code, then you could troubleshoot that specific sensor. That is something that is relatively simple to do, vs throwing parts at the car.

Have you changed the transmission fluid? Did you use Honda ATF? Maybe clean the lockup and shift solenoids and the screens?

did you change the tranny yourself? or have some one do it? a friend of mine had this problem and it ended being a flywheel, some of the teeth were worn down too far to make contact. did you or anyone else see damage on flywheel?

muffinman617 02-26-2011 09:38 PM

also, was it a new, used or rebuilt transmission?

uhenry1 02-27-2011 09:57 AM

It was a used transmission and no one see damage on flywheel.
