Default 2.4\ Honda Accord Engine

Will a 2006 CRV 2.4L engine fit into my 2003 Honda accord?

The engine will fit; but, probably require some modification and re-using some old parts from the Accord.

A 2006 CR-V has drive-by-wire throttle system. A 2003 Accord 4 cylinder does not.

Have you searched for a used Accord engine? Supposedly, they are more plentiful and cheaper.

Here some articles where an Accord engine was used for a swap into a Civic, etc.

Honda Accord - K24 Engine Swap - Honda Tuning Magazin

Yes I did look for an accord engine. I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia and there are very few around. The closest I can get is Ontario. Thanks for the information.my car jumped its timing and people tell me that's it cheaper to find a used motor rather then fixing the old one

I think it is best if you asked around regarding fixing the engine. Typically all you need to do is have the head rebuilt, and while the rebuild itself may cost a bit more than the used motor, the labor should be significantly less expensive. Net-net, it is typically cheaper to fix the head.
