2000 accord front impact sensor location
Hi, I have a 2000 accord lx 2.3l. It was in an accident and the airbags deployed. The seat belts also locked. I had the srs unit cleared and seat belts rebuilt. Both of the airbags were also replaced. I was just wondering if there are front impact sensors and if so where are they located, do I need to replace them also? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm pulling my hair out try to find info on this. |
Is the SRS light turning on while you are driving?

Re: airbag impact sensors
I haven't re connected the battery back up yet. Just wanted to make sure the new air bags weren't going to deploy due to faulty sensors. I looked all over the radiator support, behind the bumper, and along the subframe but didn't see any airbag impact sensors there. |

there aren't any. the srs computer senses the impact and deploys the bags.
as opposed to the side airbags, which do have sensors on the door sills under the carpets. |
