2000 Accord V6 P1259 Help
So I now I am very late with a reply but I still need help with the 1259 code. I have reset the code and it always comes back. The code is on as soon as I start the vehicle and the noticeable changes I've seen while driving is that there is a hitch once I get to 4000 RPMs and that if I take multiple short trips, by the 4th trip, the car may rev but not start, or start but will not drive normally until I have driven a couple of seconds. I have looked on other forums that have said if the code comes on in idle it is usually a bad vtec pressure sensor. Is that the case?

I move your post to a new thread for better answers.

Best to test things before just replacing parts.
Have a volt meter and some time? Start by testing for continuity on the vtec pressure switch. There are many steps in solving for this code so this is just the first step.....of course be sure the oil level is at the proper level. |
