Default 2000 Honda Accord problem

I have a 2000 Honda Accord with about 120,000 miles on it.
We got an oil change last week and the car hasn't felt the same since.
It operates fine in the lower gears but struggles in fifth gear almost immediately sounding high-pitched like it still needs to switch to another gear. It doesn't seem to accelerate as well in fifth gear either.
The RPMS are also much higher in the higher gears.
Can anyone suggest what the problem might be?

Thanks!

When you say "oil change", do you mean the engine oil, or transmission oil/fluid?

If engine oil, I wouldn't lean towards a connection with that service, and your current issue.

It sounds like your clutch is slipping. If so then it's just coincidence that the problem started after the oil change. Drive the car at 40mph in fifth gear and press the gas hard...does the engine rev up quickly without accelerating the car?
