2000 Honda Accord V6 P0401

I have seen lots of threads on this. Performed the procedure to clean the egr port, (did it 24,000 miles back and all was good) code cleared after I unhooked negative battery cable. Check engine light came back next day, performed the reseat of fuse #12. Code cleared for like almost 2 days. Check engine light back on today. Is it possible the egr valve really needs replaced? I don't know, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When you cleaned the EGR port, did you remove the intake manifold? Just want to be thorough.

Thanks for the response,
yes I pulled the intake manifold off and cleaned the port real well with a drill bit and throttle body cleaner. Did this process 24000 miles back and the code cleared that time. Took awhile to get that clean. Also checked the port going back to the egr valve and cleaned that as best as I could, hard to see whether there is anything else down in there. The only other thoughts I have are maybe I need to pull the egr valve and make sure there's no other clog there, and unfortunately may need to pull the intake manifold again in the process. Do you think I should replace the intake manifold gasket and throttle body gasket? Last 2 times I just re-used them. Kind of wonder whether I don't have a good seal. They don't looked damaged, but not sure.

I also saw on youtube video where the guy not only cleaned the egr ports, but also replaced the valve cover gaskets to clear the P0401 code. Do you happen to know whether that gasket may be part of the problem?

Thanks again for the response, any information is helpful.
