2001 Accord Steering Knuckle Upper Ball Joint - Replacement?

Have a 2001 Accord LX 4cyl. While rotating tires found the drivers side steering knuckle upper ball joint has gone bad (loose with metal-to-metal rattle when testing at 6 & 12 o'clock). Can anyone tell me if that joint can be removed / pressed out / replaced? Or if it's an integral part and the whole knuckle has to be replaced. Also, if replaceable, would the lower need to be done too just for consistency? Finally, if this repair is performed on driver side, does passenger 'have' to be done too? I have th Haynes tech manual but it doesn't go into those specifics.

Thanks!

Majestic Honda Parts shows the Upper Ball Joint comes with the upper control arm only. You can do just the worn part. I don't think there is any Coalition that if one part wears that other related parts will fail soon.

Thanks Kris. Don't know why I didn't think to look at it from the control arm perspective. My head was stuck on the knuckle. Did a quick search and looks like that could be reasonable too. Heck of a lot easier to install as well. Thanks.

I think you can press it out of the control arm then get a new one in the form of a camber-adjustment kit. But maybe that's just as expensive as a UCA?
