I have just bought an 2001 Honda Accord EX V-6 and love it. This is my 3rd or 4th day with the car and want to know what kind of gas should I put in the car. The manual says, if I'm not mistaken, that a octane of 86 or higher is required. On Honda's website, it says that using higher priced fuel does not have much benefit.

What do you guys think? What kind of fuel should I put in my car?

I love Honda and love my Honda Accord!

Thanks, would there be any benefit in using 89 or 93 octane as opposed to 87?

I think I'll use 87.
