2002 Accord passenger window thumping noise when it goes all the way up...help!!

I hope someone can help me troubleshoot this passenger thumping noise coming form the motor mechanism when the window goes all the way up.
When the window goes up and if I keep pulling the button, some sort of thumping noise comes from the window mechanism? Once I let go of the button, the noise stops and the window sometimes leaves a 2-3mm gap from the passenger door.

Is the window mechanism going bad and how do I go about fixing this? Not even sure if I need to replace a fuse. Someone told me the relay is going bad?

I'd appreciate any help...Many thanks!!!

"Sounds" like the motor.....Me, I'd check the run channels and lube them, see if the issue is still there before getting into the window motor/reg assy......

Where can I locate the run channels? Do I have to take anything out from the door frame to lube these channels?
To be honest, I don't know the location of the things you mentioned.

Thanks in advance,
-Mott

Search for D1svF3Pmolc on YouTube for a video on replacing the run channel.

You can remove the door panel, pull back the plastic sheet on the sides of the door, then lubricate the run channel on both sides of the door using silicone paste. You wouldn't have to remove the window to do this.
