2003 Accord nav screen constantly rebooting - can't even enter a code
 

Does anyone know what causes this? It appears to most common semi-affordable solution to this is to send the nav unit to Alpine. Does anyone know if this works for 2003 Accords? Has anyone had success buying a replacement nav unit from ebay for ~$400?

It may be just a coincidence but the small display above the vents that shows the temperature setting and other things doesn't light up unless you press down on the dash a little.
