RE: 2003 Accord V6 Issues

Had any of you changed your ATF frequently? I'm chaging mine soon at 30k miles. In my haynes manual it says if temps excede 90f frequently and/or heavy city driving it should be changed every 30k. It says normaly to change the ATF 90k miles, but thats a long time for me.

So you have a ten year old used car with some issues and you're using that to justify switching brands? I don't understand.

I don't understand.[/QUOTE you dont have to understand!!! i have a 03 with 160K on it and it is a lemon and with the research i did on the vin through the dealer, i found many issues it had before!! from the rear main seal going out for the second time !!!!and this tranny issue it commonly has!!!!!!!! and i have always owned Toyota till this lemon so its going back to what i am familiar with and have had such good luck with over the years hell even my old mercury mountaineer was a better more dependable ride with 196k on it when i sold it!!! and all i ever did to it was oil changes every 5 k and a cv shaft yep a FORD out did a honda now that is sad
