2003 Honda Accord Couple V6 EX-L Stalling at times

All,

I have a 2003 Honda Accord Couple V6 EX-L automatic with Navigation, now with 234K miles, that has stalled twice in the last 3 months. Each time I was driving below 30mph and suddenly the engine would would be off; I lost power steering capability.

I had two repair events in my car about 3 months ago:

1. I had my transmission rebuilt.
2. I installed a car battery disconnect on my negative terminal.
3. I installed a new DVD player module in the trunck of my car to run the nagivation.

Otherwise the car runs mostly well. I am still seeing some slippage in the transmission at in the lower gears (1/2), but this is mostly when the car is cold.

Do anyone has any thoughts about this issue?

Thanks alot in advance.

The transmission slip sounds like a fluid/hydraulic issue.

Did the car seem like it lost power when it stalled? I'd look at the negative cable disconnect for the stalling issue. Stop by a parts store and have them scan for codes as well.

Ok. The car did seem to lose power when it stalled. However, as soon as I stopped and tried starting it, it started right away on both occasions.

Maybe I willl replace the nagative cable disconnect.

Can you make it stall by wiggling the key? Flaky ignition switches aren't unheard-of...
