2004 Honda Accord EX 3L V6 Engine bay wiring harness

Need to replace the whole Engine bay Wiring Harness.

1. Is it one whole harness or multiple sections to the Engine, Accessories (Alternator, Starter, lights etc.) and Transmission.

2. Does anyone have any Part Number(s) for this?
Spoke with a Honda Dealership and they only show a Floor Harness. They really have no idea if it is one piece or different sections.

Posting as Honda is not much assistance.

Thank you for any help on this.

Why do you need to replace the engine bay harness?

Go to a site like hondapartsnow.com and enter your vehicle information. It should show you the OEM part numbers for the harness. I'm not as familiar with the V6, but I think there are some sections depending on your specific problem.

You can also try to source a wiring harness from a junkyard or possibly ebay.

There is a main engine harness and several sets of left and right side sub-harnesses. New harnesses through the dealer would be very expensive and may not be worth it due to the age of the vehicle. Used would be more cost-effective.

Thought the engine wiring harness was one whole part after talking to a local Honda Dealership.
Need the whole harness if it is one piece OR at least the break out that connects to the main harness for the Transmission Solenoids etc. on the transmission.

Someone put butt connectors on multiple ends of the harness where they connect to the Transmission Solenoids.
Transmission is not working now and the Transmission Repair place said they will not work on it unless the Wiring Harness to the Solenoids is OEM / Correct / Intact.

If there is a sub harness to the Transmission Solenoid connectors I want to go OEM with that to at least know that part of it is squared away.

The wire harness and connectors for the transmission are part of the main engine harness. It looks like it may be a discontinued part at the dealer. To check for the right part number, you can enter the trim detail at Honda online dealer sites.

Thanks for letting me know it is part of the main harness. The local Honda Dealer was not even clear if it was or was not a separate part.

Trim Detail as in EX ? to make sure I am clear on that please.

It may or may not make a difference in the actual part number for the engine harness; but, it can for other harnesses. See attached images of variations of the V6 EX and emissions (KL is California).

You can enter the car's VIN at certain sites like Bernardi Honda, Majestic, etc. for part lookup.
