2005 2.4 fuel filter? Where is it!?

Hi guys,

I bought my '05 Accord used last year with 50k miles on it. I figure now it's time to do a complete tune up on it since I have no idea when/if any work has been done to itin thepast. I went to buy my parts and got a surprise. The parts guy tells me that they don't show a fuel filter for my car and it's a dealer service only. So I head home and start searching the web to get more info and I can't find anything on the subject. I called a few other parts stores, same deal. I am calling the stealer next. Any one have any experience on this subject?

read the notes under the part

http://www.theautochannel.com/autopa...883552lvh.html

"This vehicle does not have an in-line fuel filter between the fuel tank and the engine. Use this filter set when replacing the fuel strainer located inside the fuel tank, which is the only fuel filter on this vehicle."

Thanks for the info sir_nasty. I was afraid that they putthe filterin the tank. Is it just a strainer or is it an actual filter (5to 10 micron mesh)?
