2005 Accord EX trunk won't open
 

I have a 2005 Honda Accord EX V6. The inside latch below driver seat won't open the trunk. The latch seems to be stuck and I'm afraid i will break it if I pull to hard. If I push it down the gas tank opens so no problem there. Any ideas you think I should take a look or fix? Thanks

Possible the cable broke?

With the trunk open, move the lever and see if the cable is moving.
