2007 Alarm won't activate

My 2007 Accords battery died so I got a jump start. Though everything was good until I tried to activate the alarm from the key fob unsuccessfully. Not sure if this is because I got it jump started. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but any and all assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

A weak battery can cause problems w/ the alarm system. You should have battery tested to be sure weak battery is not the problem.

It may be necessary to reset the alarm system (check owners manual), but removing battery negative cable should cause a reset.

good luck

Thanks For your assistance. The sun will be out tomorrow so Autozone says they can check and charge the battery free of charge. I will let you know if it works out. Thanks again

How to reset the anti-theft system on the Honda Accord?

Insert the key into the driver’s side door lock. Turn it to unlock, then back to lock. Repeat the process. Turn it to unlock again. The system should now be disabled. You’ll need to start the car and leave it running for at least 10 minutes to reset the system.

Try this hope it works
