2007 V4 sedan not starting at all!

Hi, I am new to this forum so I apologize before hand if I need to post this elsewhere, as well I am not to knowledgeable about cars so I figured the best thing to do would be to post here.

Anyway... I have a 2007 V4 sedan with about 33K miles and its not starting. Everytime I try to turn the car on it makes almost like a buzzing noise which then slowly dies down. The gas range goes up and down, the lights turn on but are very dim. The car will not rev at all it just makes that very weird sound. As well, the lights in the dashboard turn on but sort of blink, they do not stay stable, earlier the radio turned on, but now it doesnt turn on either, and it almost sounded as if CDs were changing when I did not even touch it.

I had last used the car a week ago and it was up and running fine, I came home from school this weekend and it wont start, I have no idea what to do.

Any help is highly appreciated, thank you very much in advance!

Is it an I4 or V6?

Sounds like either your battery is dead, or the connections are loose. Tighten the connections. See if anything happens when you turn the key. If not, try jump starting the car.

If it starts up, then either you left a light on and drained the battery, or your battery is bad.

It is a 4 cylinder. I hope its only the battery because the last thing I need is some sort of work to be done. I'll definitely try to jump start it or check the connections tmrw. Thanks!

Sounds like a bad battery or battery connection. Check the cable connections to be sure they are clean and tight. Do you have a meter to check the voltage of the battery? If not you can pull the battery out and take it to a parts store and have them check it out......3 year/36K warranty from the dealer, if you got it new then there is a chance and it might be worth the call.

EDIT: Just saw your other post. Guess we can DELETE this one.

I moved Poorman's post into this thread & deleted the other duplicate.
