2008 Accord V6 automatic, jerky throttle response

My '08 Accord V6 automatic has a very annoying jerkiness when accelerating at lower rpm's (1500-2000 most noticeably). It's worse with a cold engine and under a bit of a load like up a slight grade. I've noticed it since the car was new when it was fairly subtle. However, it's gotten progressively worse and less subtle. My dealer's service manager says he's not aware of this being a problem and checked with Honda for service bulletins but there are none. Although he says my car is performing like they all do I find this hard to believe. I can't imagine any manufacturer, least of all Honda, finding my car's performance acceptable. Any suggestions as the dealer thinks I don't have a problem?

It sounds like your not letting the engine warm up to the point that everything is lubed with oil... try letting the car warm up and see if that helps...

A reach and an idea.(EDIT: or the other way around)- Have you tried another dealer, of course the new dealer may see the records from the one you are currently going to.

Honda: low power during acceleration. Vehicles may experience an intermittent lack of power due to interference or noise on the knock sensor signal circuit.....TSB# SB-07-057

Doesn't say anything about "cold" but pretty close, also says intermittent which may be different than what you have?

Thanks for your suggestions. I've been to two dealers neither of whom has a clue. One said he found that the Odyssey had something similar that Honda put out a service bulletin on, but nothing on the Accord. I've made a note of your idea which I'll present the next time I go for service. I bought a Honda to avoid having to become a technician, but I guess it didn't work out!

Honda TSB 07-057 is applicable to the Accord with the L4 engine.
