2012 accord clicking noise

I recently purchased a 20120 Honda Accord SE in November. I have noticed that when i am turning to park, their is a pretty loud clicking noise. The noise does not sound normal at all. It doesn't happen when I am actually driving but only when i turn my steering wheel a lot to left/right. I took it to the Honda Dealership for this problem and i was pretty unhappy with their response. They took my car for an hour, came back and said car has no problem and a lot of honda vehicles do this and it is normal. Not sure how this loud clicking can be normal. I am planning on taking it to another dealership. Any idea on what it can be?

I just bought a new 2012 accord as well, and too have noticed this noise. Not exactly sure what it was, but noticed the one time when my radio was lower. I think that it may happen more than i notice, but the radio may mute it out. Let me know if you find out anything for the other dealership.

Although this Honda technical service bulletin is for the earlier 8th generation Accords (your cars are also 8th generation), it may also apply. If the steering wheel pop or click is from the lower area, it may be due to the steering column lower bearing being mis-set and the column needs to be replaced. See copy of tsb:

Thank you for that info. I'm not
Sure why the employees checking my car at Honda didn't mention anything and were trying to convince me it's normal. I will def take it somewhere else. Really irritatIng

Print out a copy of that TSB and keep it with you when you go. I would mention it and if they claim they can't find it on their system, then I would show them.

Also, it is not normal, my car doesn't click when I turn the steering wheel.
