Default 2014 Accord EX Sedan CVT fluid

I recently drained the CVT fluid with the car on jack stands....

As per manual I added 3.6 quarts and started up the car to run thru all
shift ranges. I shut off engine and opened check bolt. A small splash of
fluid came out but it did not continuously slow drip!

I added all 4 quarts and still no slow drip! Is it because the fluid is cold or do
I need to add more?

Any Honda mechanics out there?

Thanks,

Michael

When you added the remaining .4 did you run through the gears again? Everything I 'e read so far indicates that it would be necessary to do so.

Default I have the same issue.

Same issue - more than 4 quarts came out when i drained my 2014 accord transmission. It filled a gallon milk jug, with a tad more left over!

i assumed whoever last changed the fluid (dealer) must have over-filled it. However, i have put 4 full quarts in and it is still not dripping out of the check plug hole!

this CVT definitely has a capacity greater than 3.7 quarts based on this.
