2nd post - quick leaking question
 

hey guys, brand new here, just a super quick question about my new accord.
everything seems to be running smoothly, but i noticed this leak. I'm pretty positive its just water, as its clear and feels like water, but i thought i'd post a picture of where its leaking from and see what u guys think.

Probably the A/C evaporator drain hose.

This is the proper place. If that drain is on the firewall (between where the passenger sit and the engine bay), then that is the a/c drain.

When you cool hot/humid air, the water vapor condenses, much like when you get summer rain when the air cools in the evening. That tube is to allow the water to drain. This is perfectly normal.

cool thats what i thought it was but i just thought i'd make sure since im a complete noob when it comes to cars.

this is a unrelated question, but i'll be replacing the brake pads on my car this week. do i really need to get the "honda" break pads? or are any brake pads ok?

You don't need Honda brake pads, your choice.
