86 Honda Accord flooding
86 Honda Accord seems to be flooding. Trying to restart engine after driving for 15 minutes or more is difficult. It smells of gas and will not fire (plugs are firing). If I let is set for about 15 minutes it starts will little or no hesitation. Does anyone know what this could be? The plugs are dry. It is a fuel injected engine.

this sounds similar to what is going on with an 88 accord, you said it is getting spark and fuel? smells flooded but won't fire... I guess the first step would be determining if it's a spark or fuel related issue. Is your choke sticking? Once the car warms up try disconnecting the choke and see if it will start

It is a fuel injected engine. chk the TW sensor .chk for codes ..ecu should be located under the driver's seat |

I found that whenever it won't start that it IS NOT getting much fire. I only get the problem when the car is hot, or has been driven alot, and only when I try to restart it. Whenever it does start I get no problems out of it. No sputtering, no misfires, it just runs smooth. Maybe the Distributor?

if it is a lack of spark issue ,, you might to test the ignitor or coil
