90 accord clutch pedal issue

i just put a new tranny in my 90 accord. i am in the process of bleeding the clutch on it and as soon as i touch the petal it slams to the floor with no resistance and does not return. i have been bleeding the slave and no air seems to be coming out but the petal is not getting any better. and when i am bleeding it i have to pull the pedal back by hand when pumping it , also the slave is new. please help trying to get this thing on the road and start saving some gas money.

Are you sure the Master is in good condition?

yes it was working fine before i swapped the tranny... im trying to find the theory of operation for the clutch system.... does the ball on the slave push out when clutch pedal is pushed in?

I've moved this to General Tech - please do not post questions in the DIY section.

When you push the clutch pedal, the piston in the slave cylinder pushes out.

Here is a good video on how to do the clutch hydraulics.
