93 Accord Passenger side Brake Light issue
 

Ok not sure what to do about this. My Brake Light on the passenger side works sometimes. If you giggle the Gray connector you can get it work if it has stopped working and it will last a while then stop working again. Its making me crazy. Is this common? Any ideas why? Do they sell new connectors? Besides replacing it what can be done to fix this thing. I also noticed dew/water inside the light. Whats up with that?

I would first replace the bulb and see if a new bulb may make better contact w/ connector or simply swap bulbs L-R and see if that makes any difference. If electrical connector is faulty, check Honda for a new connector. I checked and they have them.

Tail light gasket might help the "dew/water".

Check the connectors for "corrosion", then the circut board of the "failure sensor" can go bad as well......personally had this issue on the 89 LX, ended up finding and getting the whole lens assy from a bone yard - replaced the wire harness and the failure sensor...life has been good ever since....note the failure sensor IS different from right to left.

You may want to unplug that electrical connector to the brake light and see if any of the pins are lose or corroded.

As for water in the tail light, there is a foam gasket that behind the tail light plastic housing that can deteriorate over time. The gasket is probably around $20 at the dealership and is pretty simple to replace.
