Default 94 accord dies when headlight turned on

I was driving my accord when I noticed my radio cutting out a few times then the speedo went crazy jumping high then lower. I went to turn the headlights on and the car almost died? This just happened not sure why could it be a bad alternator? Thanks

I would disconnect the battery and clean all ends of both battery cables with a wire brush or a piece of sand paper.

Then reattach. Stop by a parts store. They will check the battery/alternator for free.

Alternator was bad. Replaced it had it checked battery and new alt are good. Today it started doing the same symptoms with the radio. I did notice my battery is a little wet on top would that get on terminals and cause this?

Does your radio cut out only when the volume is loud?

My old car used to have this problem. Put a brand new battery and alternator and the problem continued. On my accord the previous owner wired the stereo to the battery to supply it with enough power. I think when the stereo turns off like that its protecting itself.
