94 Accord Fuel Problem
Hi,
I just recently had the code pulled from my 94 Accord EX Coupe, the CEL kept coming on and off int. The code that I got is the following:
43-2 Fuel Supply Over Lean
The guys at Pep Boys got me the code out for free, but wanted a arm and a leg just for a diagnostic fee to figure out what's wrong. My question is what might be causing this and what the soution is - maybe a vaccum leak in the fuel lines...??

What about a partially clogged fuel filter? Was is ever changed?
My 94 Accord EX has never had it done...runs great...with 147750 miles on it. Probably should do it soon.....do not know.

Thank you for the replies,
I have never gotten the fuel filter changed and the car has about 152,xxx on it, but I have never used cheap gasoline or driven in areas with a low octane offering. As the fuel injectors go, I usually put in a bottle of STP or any other brand fuel system cleaner about every 5,000 miles. I will try to use some Lucas Fuel System cleaner and see if it solves the problem.

I just put in a bottle of Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner, hoping that it will help unblock and clean anything that might be in the injectors. If that doesn't do, I will probably have to pull the injectors and check them out.
How would I be able to check if there is a leak in the fuel lines or the fuel pressure is wrong, I mean, there is absolutely no gas leaking or the smell of it.

Does the car have any running problems along with the code? A rough idle or a loss of power?
It's just code 42, the car seems to have some power loss at times, it hesitates a bit when going up-hill, but other than that performance wise nothing else is affected. The thing that is affected are the MPG's, went from 26 city to about 22 if I am lucky in the city.
