*PLZ HELP* 94 Honda Accord Fuel Pump/Pressure Issue

I have a 94 Honda Accord EX Coupe, it wasnt getting any fuel pressure and the fuel pump wouldn’t turn on so I put a new fuel pump in, that still didn’t work so I put a new fuel pump relay in and then just to be safe I put in a new fuel filter. Now it gets fuel pressure but it’s on and off. Sometimes the car will start but then it loses fuel 30 seconds later and stalls. I did a continuity test on the ignition switch last night and the the connection for the fuel pump was weak so I replaced the ignition switch, and now it’s still not starting. And when the fuel pump does decide to work, the fuel pressure is strong and perfect. It just doesn't work for long, makes me believe it’s a either a faulty fuel pump or a power connection issue of some sort. I’m just 19 years old and haven’t been doing this 40 years so just asking for some educated advice.

You'll need to test electrically if you are losing power or ground to the fuel pump. Access the fuel pump electrical connector from the access panel in the trunk near the back seat. The yel or yel/blk wire is the power feed. If you are good with electrical testing, backprobe the power wire and use a test light. Hook the other end of the test light to a good ground (any bare metal bolt will do). See if the light remains on when the engine stalls out.

Well I haven’t done that yet, I’m about to mow that you’ve given me the idea hit in fairly sure it’s the power supply because I realized when the the fuel pump stops pumping, my fuel gauge dosent show my fuel level. So my fuel float and fuel pump lose and gain power together, what do you think this could be?

Maybe a bad ground.

google cd7_cd9.pdf to get a shop manual that covers your accord. G751 is the ground for the fuel gauge.

Just disconnect the ground and clean the eyelet and bolt with a wire brush or sandpaper to ensure a good ground contact.

I'd still recommend testing the powers electrically to troubleshoot the circuit.
