'95 Accord A/C problem

i have a problem with the a/c not cooling.... replaced compressor, condensor, expansion valve, dryer. evacuated and recharged.... still cools marginally going down the road and gets increasingly hot in town or stop and go. the condensor fan runs but sometime i find it does not start and the airflow is questionable. i have a new one ordered but i saw a post somewhere earlier in which someone quoted similar symptoms and said the found the"thermostat" to be bad. is there an actual thermostat somewhere that i am not aware of ... he quoted it was "somewhere" behind the glove box .....the only thing i am aware of behind the glove box area is the evap coil and the expansion valve. am i wrong on this .....is there a thermostat that could be bad and, if so, exactly where is it ....i assumed temp was controlled by regulating water flow through the heater coil.....thanks for any help.

the thermostat is right next to the expansion valve, and i mean right next to, like two inches away. its in the evap which is directly to the left of the blower motor under the glove box. there is only one plug that goes to the evap and thats for the stat

Firt off,, as light says there is a thermostatic switch located in the evap .. but contrary to what he says it is not 2 inches away form the exp valve ,or right next to it , it is located on the opposite side of the evap ,,,
Before you start replacing things you need to DIAGNOSE ....
so i gather the issues are a/c not cooling well.......a/c fan does not work at times ..........poor air flow from a/c fan ...........is that correct ??

the thermostatic switch could causw the first 2 scenarios but poor air flow from the a/c fan ,,is a weak motor ( going dead ) .

the thermostatic switch supplies ground path to the system,, if it does not, compressor will not engage,
and on a final note........why did you need to replace compressor . condensor ,exp valve, drier ???
