Default 95 accord power door locks again

OK I took passenger power lock actuator out and the rubber stops are in place. It cycles 2 times when I try to lock or unlock and does not move. the lever never moves on the actuator and the teeth are all on the gears. After disassembly I see a small spring which I assume is supposed to keep pressure to run the 2 pawls out???? Anybody go as far as taking the actuator all the way apart? I found a small square plastic piece broken and not sure from where?

If you search my posts, you'll find a post where I glued a wood chip to anchor the small spring in the actuator. The small plastic lug anchored the spring. Some pics were attached. I searched my files but I no longer have them.

The "repaired" actuator worked but not every time. Since it was LR door I lived w/ status. I no longer have the car.

good luck

Is this something that would be included if the actuator were replaced? Or is this something that would still need to be fabricated (piece of wood glued?) for a new actuator to work correctly? It's not that I have a problem with it right now, but I do have 3 Accords with power door locks, and my wife uses the hell out of hers.

The spring and plastic lug are internal parts of the actuator and only visible if cover is removed.

good luck

There is also a thread from Redbull-1 on repairing these what might give some insight as well

Cool. I'll have to do a search. Thanks for the heads up.

I will have to say its a cheap setup, and why the clutch there? Any way I fixed it in a different way, I shot hard epoxy into the hole maybe 3/8 of and inch deep and after fighting to get it together it works great!
