Need a little help have a 97 accord automatic tranny. 2.2 problem is that when i try to take off the car stays stuck on first gear and jus revs amd doesn't change gears untill i let go of.gas it will.change gears ran codes and received vss changed that and tranny fluid wit honda dw1 and still doin same thing can any one point me to another solution.

 

Has any recent work been done to the car besides what you have listed?

Check the throttle control cable for proper movement and adjustment.

Test the solenoids.

Recheck codes and list any and all of them and the numbers (P1259 for example).

 

Bought new solenoids n still doin same o thing but now check light off so my next step is again change out tranny oil same fuild see if it makes a difference

 

Throttle cables good cleaned out the throttle body as well wit seafoam did a little wipe down on cables were dirty but also same problem so now... Map sensor the vs sensor n both solenoids are new..... Im bout to blow up thid car >=[
