Hi there, I have a 97' Honda Accord special edition and my AC is not working.
I think I need a new switch or relay where the hot and cold water hose or switch. The heather works and it blows heat but it does not switch over for the AC to work. What part do I need or does anyone know if I can fix this without getting a new part? Thanks!

 

I'm old and slow.

With the car on, ac button on and blower set to "some speed" - do both rad cooling fans come on?

 

Also check whether large AC hose is cold at the firewall penetration.

Are you sure its not swiching over? Does the temp stay the same when you move it cold? If the ac doesnt work and its a hot day its going to blow rather hot air. Check your cooling lines.
