98 Accord Hesitation when cold
 

I have the 4 cyl. EX model, 155K mi. When the car is "cold", i.e. engine has warmed to normal operating temperature, then the car hesitates when the gas pedal is pushed down. Then after a second of "nothing" it lurches forward and gives you whiplash. I've had it to the dealer a couple of couple of times, and they couldn't seem to repeat it, nor could they find anything wrong with it. This problem doesn't occur every time, but about 70% of the time. This problem has lingered on now for several years. I believe I've had the manifold cleaned, timing checked, spark plugs & wires changed, etc......

Any ideas?

there is a bulletin on this 01-004 applies to all 98-00 accords 4 cyl.........your symptom sounds just like that

ask the dealer if they performed the work as per the bulletin on your car //
