98 accord wheels

I am planning on throwing some 17x9s on my baby next month, providing I have my transmission issues figured out by then. I have never done any kind of tire stretching, or anything like that. I am trying to build a price list, and I need to figure out what size tires I should throw on these. I am going for a well-fitted look, will list items involved.

Wheels:

(undecided)
STR-518
or
STR-514

Suspension:

F2 Function and form

I need to know what size tires I should be looking for if I am trying to stretch them. And I am sure I have to roll the fenders, but I have a good friend with the tools to do that (not a baseball bat hehe.) Thanks in advance for the help!

:)

I don't know anything about stretching as I try to maximize tire size but I would say the minimum would be 215 width.

Check out tyrestretch.com to see picture of what different tire sizes look like on 17x9 rims.

And it hits a tender spot for me how those rims say "rays engineering" on them.

Hi Member:)
In 1998 Accords with the 4cyl engine had the 4x114.3mm wheels where as the v6 had the 5x114.3mm wheels..what is your engine size.
